This is a great TED talk about what Microsoft is doing in the area of maps. It’s really awesome to see how they’ve brought powerful technologies like Bing Maps, PhotoSynth and WorldWide Telescope together to make something even more powerful. Oh yeah, and there’s backpack cameras now.
Now I’m bummed about buying a new computer because I can clearly do everything I need on an iPhone.
Really great seeing an evolution in the way people might interact with media that was originally created for print. I wonder if at some point print will be phased out and offered at a premium price.

Microsoft has really stepped up the user experience for Windows Mobile. It’s like Zune, but all growns up. Good stuff!
Glad to see the success of Apple and the iPhone rubbing off on other companies, especially Microsoft. Looks like the mobile world is just going to get better and better.
