Next Generation Maps

This is a great TED talk about what Microsoft is doing in the area of maps. It’s really awesome to see how they’ve brought powerful technologies like Bing Maps, PhotoSynth and WorldWide Telescope together to make something even more powerful. Oh yeah, and there’s backpack cameras now.

  • Juan, thanks for posting this, I didn't catch this TED talk. This app is freaking amazing! My mind was blown around 4:57 when they broke out the live video. ZOMG dude, the future is now, and it's standing right behind us.
