This is a great TED talk about what Microsoft is doing in the area of maps. It’s really awesome to see how they’ve brought powerful technologies like Bing Maps, PhotoSynth and WorldWide Telescope together to make something even more powerful. Oh yeah, and there’s backpack cameras now.
